About this patient:
He is Norwood 5-6 type patient, meaning the bald area is very large. As you will see in the video he used to camouflage this by combing his side hairs to the mid part of the scalp.
He specifically requested a conservative hairline, age appropriate. Obviously it was not possible to cover the entire bald area with 'just' 3000 grafts.
Strategy
We strategically placed the transplanted hairs in zone 1-2 and partially in zone 3. This solutions makes it possible to rebuild a hairline and thus framing the face again.
The density we used was also placed in such a manner that it looks naturally at the hairline level and using low density (about 30 grafts cm2) for zones 2 and 3.
