How does your hair look like underneath the skin?

Under the skin we find the follicular units, often referred to as grafts.
Grafts or follicular units come in different sizes. Usually most grafts contain one or two bulbs, but some people have up to 6 bulbs in a grafts. On average most men have about 2 hair bulbs per graft.

Here is an example of  2 and 3 hair grafts or follicular units

The average graft is about 4 mm lenght underneath the skin.

But sometimes grafts can be quite long and reach 7-8 mm under the skin
